English-speaking licensed guide included. Lunch at a local restaurant included. Waterfall entrance ticket included. Hotel pickup from Antalya and Belek. Perge (~€10) and Aspendos (~€15) entrance fees paid on site. €45 per person. No deposit — pay on the day.
What to Bring
- Comfortable walking shoes — both Perge and Aspendos involve uneven ground, steps, and significant walking distances; the sites are large
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses — most of the day is at outdoor archaeological sites with minimal shade; July and August temperatures regularly exceed 35°C by midday
- Cash for entrance fees — Perge and Aspendos tickets are not included in the tour price and are paid on site. Current approximate fees: Perge ~€10, Aspendos ~€15 per person (Turkish Lira or Euros accepted)
- Water bottle — drinks at lunch are not included; bring water for the morning ruins visits
- Camera — Aspendos Theatre’s stage wall is one of the most dramatic Roman structures still standing anywhere; early morning light at Perge is good for photography
- Light layer — early 08:00 pickup; mornings can be cool, particularly in April–May and September–October
Is This Tour Right for You?
A good fit if: You want to see the main Pamphylian and Lycian sites in one full day. Perge, Aspendos, and Side are three of the most significant archaeological sites on the Antalya coast — and they’re within an hour of each other. Aspendos is a particular reason to make the trip: the theatre, built in 155 AD under Marcus Aurelius, is the best-preserved Roman theatre anywhere, with its full stage building still intact and its original proportions unchanged. Perge was one of the great Pamphylian cities, with a 2nd-century colonnaded street, a stadium that seated 12,000, and a theatre visible from the approach road. If you want history with genuine depth, this is the tour for it. Lunch and waterfall ticket are included, so the day is mostly self-contained.
Not the right fit if: You want a beach day, a boat trip, or something lighter. This is a walking-heavy day at exposed sites — in summer, the heat at midday can be significant. If you want Aspendos specifically without the full day, check the Perge & Aspendos Evening Cultural Tour — a shorter version that visits the sites in cooler evening light. If you want Side only with a private vehicle, the Side & Manavgat Private Tour covers Side and Manavgat at a slower pace.
About the entrance fees: Perge and Aspendos tickets are excluded from the tour price and paid directly on site. The waterfall ticket is included. Side’s outdoor area (Apollo Temple, harbour, old town) is accessible without a ticket. The Side Museum is optional and not covered.
