The 11 destinations below are not interchangeable — different resort areas have different transfer distances, different access to specific tours, and different natural settings. Here is a straightforward breakdown.
If you're staying in Antalya city, Lara, or Kundu, this is your base. The Antalya City Tour covers Kaleiçi Old Town, the Upper Düden Waterfall, and Antalya harbour in one day. Boat trips — the Grand Waterfall Boat Tour, the party boat, and the foam party cruise — all depart from Antalya Marina. Adventure tours (rafting, jeep safari, ATV) include Antalya pickup.
Belek is 35 km east of Antalya — a large resort area covering Belek, Kadriye, and Serik. Most group tours include Belek hotel pickup. The area is well-suited to private tours and private yacht rental, particularly for families staying in all-inclusive hotels who want a day entirely to themselves.
Kemer is 45 km west of Antalya, with pine mountains behind and clear bays in front. The City Tour with Olympos Cable Car is well-suited to Kemer guests, with a shorter transfer to the cable car. Kemer has its own harbour with a pirate and foam party boat that doesn't require the transfer to Antalya Marina.
Side is 65 km east of Antalya — a peninsula with Roman ruins, a Temple of Apollo, and wide sandy beaches on both sides. The Side & Manavgat private tour covers the historical peninsula and the Manavgat bazaar in one day. From Side, the Green Canyon boat trip involves a shorter transfer inland than from Antalya city.
Alanya is 130 km east of Antalya — a large resort town with a Seljuk castle on a clifftop peninsula and sea caves accessible by boat from the harbour. It has its own set of local tours that don't require the transfer to Antalya. For coast-wide tours like Pamukkale or Cappadocia, Alanya guests can still book with hotel pickup — the transfer is longer but included.
Manavgat is 75 km east of Antalya, between Side and Alanya. It's the most convenient base for the Green Canyon boat trip — the Oymapinar reservoir is northeast of Manavgat, making the transfer shorter than from Antalya or Alanya. The Manavgat bazaar and the Manavgat river waterfall are within the town itself.
Olympos is 85 km southwest of Antalya — a valley between pine-forested mountains and a quiet pebble beach. The Olympos Cable Car reaches 2,365 metres above Kemer with views across the Taurus Mountains and the Gulf of Antalya. The Chimaera eternal flames — natural methane vents in the hillside above the village — are a short hike from the beach. Guests in Olympos are well-positioned for both; guests in Antalya or Kemer can book with pickup.
Adrasan is 100 km southwest of Antalya, past Olympos — a small, relatively undeveloped bay and the departure point for the Suluada boat tour. Suluada is a small uninhabited island with transparent turquoise water, often called the Turkish Maldives. Guests staying in Adrasan are 10 minutes from the harbour. Guests from Antalya, Belek, and Kemer can book with hotel pickup — transfer time varies, so departure is early.
Kekova is 185 km west of Antalya — a sheltered bay on the Lycian coast with a partially submerged Byzantine settlement visible through the clear water. The Demre–Myra–Kekova day trip combines the sunken city boat tour with the Church of St. Nicholas (the original Santa Claus) and the Lycian rock tombs at Myra. It's a long day from Antalya — early departure, late return — but covers three distinct historical sites in one trip.
Pamukkale is approximately 260 km inland from Antalya — a 5-hour drive each way. The Pamukkale day trip covers the white calcium travertine terraces and the ruins of ancient Hierapolis above them. The trip requires an early start (before 06:00) and a late return (around 23:00). It's a long day, which is worth knowing before booking. Hotel pickup from all main Antalya coast resorts.
Cappadocia is approximately 550 km from Antalya — a 9–10 hour drive. Because of the distance, most guests choose a 2-day overnight tour rather than a single long day. The Cappadocia Red Tour (Göreme Open Air Museum, fairy chimneys, valley hiking) and the Cappadocia Green Tour (Derinkuyu underground city, Ihlara Valley) are both available with hotel pickup from anywhere on the Antalya coast. Hot air balloon flights are a separate add-on, bookable locally in Cappadocia.
