This coastline has a lot of water to explore. Boat trips from Antalya cover a wide range — from the transparent turquoise bays around Suluada island to the deep-green inland water of the Green Canyon, from the Düden Waterfall boat trip (watching a 40m waterfall fall into the sea) to foam party pirate cruises out of Kemer. Group tours and private yacht charters both available. Hotel pickup from all main resort areas.
Not sure which trip to pick? The guide below breaks down what each one actually involves.
Suluada is a small uninhabited island off the Adrasan coast, south of Kemer. It's commonly called the Turkish Maldives because of its water — a pale turquoise that stays clear because the island has no development and a white pebble seabed. The boat departs from Adrasan harbour (about 90 km southwest of Antalya) and makes several swimming stops around the island.
The key practical note: depart before 09:30 if possible. Later in the morning, shared group tours from Kemer arrive and the main anchor spots become crowded. An early departure gives you the island in relative quiet. Hotel pickup is arranged from all coast resorts, though transfer from Side and Alanya is long.
The Green Canyon boat trip is not a coastal excursion — it takes place on the Oymapinar reservoir, a dam lake in the Taurus Mountains northeast of Side. The water is a deep, opaque green from mineral content and the pine-forested canyon walls on every side. The day includes swimming stops in the lake, a barbeque lunch on board, and canyon scenery that looks nothing like the Mediterranean coast below.
This is the right choice if you've already spent time on the sea and want something different — calm, sheltered, dramatic landscape. Particularly popular with guests staying in Side and Manavgat hotels, who have a shorter transfer to the lake area.
The Antalya boat party runs from Antalya harbour — a full-day group cruise with music, swimming stops, and a foam party session in the afternoon. The Kemer pirate foam party boat departs from Kemer harbour and covers the bays around the peninsula; if you're staying in Kemer or Beldibi, this saves you the transfer to Antalya. Both run with up to 50–80 passengers and are designed for guests who want a social day on the water rather than a quiet one.
If you're a solo traveller, a couple, or a small group of friends looking for an easy social day, the party boat is the right format. For families, especially with young children, a private charter or the Suluada tour is usually a better fit.
The Düden Waterfall boat trip is a 2.5-hour cruise from Antalya Marina to the Lower Düden Waterfall — a river that drops 40 metres off a coastal cliff directly into the sea. It's the only place on the Mediterranean coast where a waterfall falls directly into open water, and it's only visible from the boat. The tour returns to the marina without additional stops. A good half-day option that doesn't need a full day commitment.
All the trips above run on group boats. If you want full privacy — your group, your schedule, your route — a private yacht charter from any marina is the alternative. Departures from Antalya, Kemer, Side, Alanya, Belek, and Suluada/Adrasan. Vessels accommodate 2 to 12 people; price is per boat, not per person. See the yacht rental pages for details on each marina and route.
